Fermodel 2019 Railroad exhibition in summary

With only 2 years of existence and one exhibition held in 2018, Fermodel 2019 model railroad exhibition took place on June 1st and 2nd at Quinta dos Lombos Pavilion.

Its first public appearance was at Locomodels_Expo 2017 model railroad exhibition in Alverca, where it exhibited around 15 modular models. Although Fermodel modules do not have rigid dimensions, the basic module measures are 1.20m long, 0.60m deep and 1.00m high – up to the top of the top – they are always limited so that your transport.

North American model railway inspirational layout at Fermodel

One of the unprecedented proposals presented at the FERMODEL railway modelling event, which took place in Carcavelos earlier this month, was the model railroad layout of Henning Stelter. Mr. Selter Fermodel Member, presented two loop railroad model layout inspired by North American railroad concept. The layout using the Märklin C Track included a route with bridges, tunnels and steep slopes, recreates the journeys of freight trains of two iconic American railroad companies; Santa Fe and Rio Grande.

Fermodel 2019 model railroad exhibition

Fermodel Model Railroad Club members, always growing, both in quantity and quality, prepared a considerable number of modules for the 2nd edition of their model railroad exhibition.

This model railroad exhibition event was organized and presented on International Children's Day in 2019, at the Pavilhão dos Lombos, in Carcavelos.
Märklin was represented by Mr. Marco Löffler, one of the brand's marketing manager and his presence has very representative of the importance of the events organised by Fermodel Model Railroad Club.
